Hi, hello, I’m Betsy

… Interior Designer and Co-Founder of The Flippin Designer.

I’m so glad you’re here, I wanted to share a little more about myself and how I started the business with my husband, Rich.

How it started:

At the age of 9, I used to move around my parents' furniture throughout the home from lamp shades, tables, sofas, you name it. I loved creating art to change out my mom's framed pictures.  I felt like making the house feel new, literally like once a week and it brought me so much joy - it was an addiction, lol!

Learnings:

My interior design 101 is that I feel it’s important to present your prospective client with a clear vision, even if it's not what they originally requested.  In my mind, designers are like artists, you have to paint out your vision and communicate it with your client, because guess what - they almost always go for it!

Favorite part of what I do:

I love coming up with a completely new concept, layout, and drawing an entire home.  I am thrilled when we can utilize all of the space in a home, from large to small scale. I also really love designing a home from the start of the construction all the way down to the furnishings at the end of the process.
