THE BETSY EDIT: FINDING INSPIRATION

Gaining fresh insight and inspiration is so important as a designer. One of the ways I personally gain inspiration is through interviewing my perspective clients and obtaining their wish list for their home. Looking at different design themes from places like Pinterest also really helps me put together designs .

I love compiling samples and textures together, some of my favourite sources of inspiration are Farrow Ball, Minotti and Serena & Lily. I also enjoy looking at the bones of a home in it’s current condition and coming up with ideas.

Working with clients to achieve a clean slate, all the way down to furnishings when renovating or building a new home is my biggest inspiration.
